Women of Color Yoga: Inclusive Rec Program
What: This will be a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class which incorporates all levels of experience for participants. Recognizing that women of color are underrepresented in American yoga this class will seek to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for women of color and allies. This is a collaborative program between Graduate Students of Color Collective and Recreation Services. Free with Buff OneCard.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: The Market for Victimhood
What: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim, has gained an international following speaking up for the rights of Muslim women and girls. Named one of TIME Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People,” one of the Glamour Heroes, and one of Reader’s Digest’s “Europeans of the Year,” Hirsi Ali is a true advocate in the fight against violence to women and young girls.Join the CU Boulder Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization for an evening conversation. “Invisible Disruptions: The Cultural Politics of Hydraulic Fracturing in Colorado”
What: Artists Denise Fernandes and Shelby McAuliffe will be sharing their experiences at the oil and gas sites and will be discussing the next part of the project.

Student Forum for Climate Justice
What: Explore and redefine the leading edges of social and environmental solutions at the Student Forum for Climate Justice, featuring climate justice-centered workshops led by local change agents and re-broadcasts of climate justice focused selections from the national Bioneers plenaries, which sets a global context for the local event.

Reproductive Freedom Day at the Capitol
What: February 5th is the Reproductive Freedom Day at the Capitol hosted by the Reproductive Health Rights and Justice Coalition. This event is free to students, breakfast is provided, and will be a ‘field-trip’ style event touring the State Capitol, speaking with legislators and activists within the movement, followed by lobby training and concludes with a surprise!

2020 Inclusive Sport Summit
What: The Inclusive Sports Summit (ISS) will provide a space for all to dialogue on social issues while embracing one’s differences through interactive presentations, panel discussion, and experiential opportunities. ISS will challenge recreational and professional sports and collegiate athletics to examine their social constructs specific to race, gender, sexual orientation, ability and class. Topics will include Social Justice, LGBTQ, Race and Ethnicity, Health and Wellness and Careers in relation to sports and recreation. This event is open to the public.

Women’s Leadership Symposium
What: The Women’s Leadership Symposium is a day-long conference created for women/woman-identified staff and students. The event highlights the existing CU Boulder leadership resources and provides a place for students, staff and faculty to connect and collaborate, develop authentic and empowered leadership skills. The event keynotes, explore the variety of ways authentic leadership is present in our communities and engage the resiliency in tomorrow’s leaders with CU Boulder students, staff and faculty.
