Meet Wendy Acevedo of the Honors Program Student Advisory Board
Hello, my name is Wendy and I was born and raised in Colorado. I am currently a first year, majoring in Integrative Physiology and Psychology. In the future, I hope to become a pediatrician and work with children from other countries who do not have access to proper medical care. I came to CU because I immediately fell in love with the mountains and the people here. I instantly knew this was the place for me. My favorite part of being an honors student is the people I have met while living in the Honors RAP. I wanted to join the Honors Program Student Advisory Board because I loved that I would be able to contribute new and fun ideas on how we can help improve the Boulder community and form a stronger community within the Honors Program. A fun fact about myself is that I graduated from high school with my high school diploma and my Associate Degree in science.
